![]() Swift to attack with a Quickened Intensified Shocking Grasp (using a level 1 spell slot).Full attack with an Intensified Maximized Shocking Grasp (using a level 1 spell slot). That means each round you can technically do the following: Spell Perfection - Spell Perfection Shocking Grasp with Quicken Spell and Maximize spell will really optimize your damage output.Dimensional Dervish - Comes online late unless you use retraining, but it allows you to do full attacks with teleports! Super fun, and what I'm currently building toward.Bodyguard - This is discussed in the Kensai Magus Guide. There's a lot of interesting things you can do with your spare feats, which is one of the reasons I love the Magus. It requires Fighter Level 4th, Kensai lets you qualify for this. You can't take Weapon Specialization unless you're multiclassing with Fighter or you also go with Kensai archetype. Waiting 1 extra level for an upgrade is pretty irrelevant, take it at 7.ĮDIT: You can totally take Weapon Specialization. The reason to not take Intensified Spell at 5? It doesn't do anything for Shocking Grasp until level 6 anyways. Also note, Intensified Spell can be applied to any of your spells, not just shocking grasp (not sure if you were just noting which spell you plan to use with it). Take Power Attack at level 5, not Intensified Spell. This is what i'm sitting on now after all the input, which I am very grateful for.ĥ - Feat - Weapon Focus + Bonus Feat - Empower Spellħ - Feat - Intensified Spell (Shocking Grasp)ĩ - Magus Arcana - Spell Shield + Feat - Power Attackġ1 - Feat - Spell Penetration + Bonus Feat - Lungeġ2 - Magus Arcana - Spell Blending + Ability Scoreġ5 - Magus Arcana - Quicken Spell + Feat - Spell Perfectionġ7 - Feat - Greater Spell Penetration + Bonus Feat - Extra Arcane Pool My feat list atm:ĥ - Feat - Weapon Focus + Magus Feat - Intensified Spell (Shocking Grasp)ġ1 - Feat - Weapon Specialisation + Magus Feat - Lungeġ7 - Feat - INSERT FEAT HERE + Magus Feat - INSERT FEAT HERE I'm newish to PF and I have been planning out a Dex Bladebound Magus incase a TPK occurs, I have read most guides and posts I can, but I could use some help on the feats that I should use/when to take. /r/3d6 - For character creation, advice and sharing (system agnostic)./r/Battlemaps - For your VTT battlemap requirements./r/Tabletop - For your general tabletop gaming shenanigans./r/lfg - Looking For Group, find other players, etc./r/RPG - For general, non-Pathfinder related RPG discussion./r/Starfinder_rpg - For dedicated discussion of Paizo's Science Fantasy system and setting./r/Pathfinder_Kingmaker - To discuss the Owlcat-made computer RPGs./r/Pathfinder2e - For dedicated Second Edition discussion./r/Pathfinder - For Pathfinder Society Organization/Discussion.Other subreddits you might be interested in: Fillable character sheets and intelligent character builders. Some of these tools and resources include the following: We have a Wiki page that includes links for various useful tools and resources, most of which have been provided by the members of this community.
